Demo Updated to v1.0.1!!!
After we launched the demo yesterday, we spoke with players to get feedback and find bugs. Today was spent applying everything we learned! We've included an excerpt from our internal Changelog document we started at the bottom!
We'd like to implore players to check out the Tutorials by talking in-game to Eddy the Hyena. Movement, Charge, and Uppercut are very useful skillsets to master, and the tutorials there will really help you understand the nuances of the combat system, as well as shaving seconds off your time within the levels.

- Xbox "B" button is now properly recognized as a Decline button (only impacts one part of gameplay right now)
- A textbox appears in the hub now the first time through that gives you some really helpful advice, and some clarity on the purpose of the demo!
- Changed
- Updated teleport locations of some NPC events in tutorial rooms to try and avoid players spawning in the wrong location on returning to the hub
- Main Menu's Continue Button is replaced with a "No Save Data" button when you haven't started a file yet, or the save file cannot be found
- Barrels can no longer be destroyed by enemies
- Made FlyEnemy hitboxes smaller
- Made the Sweep Hitbox extend further back into the player to eliminate the "Roy Zone" (K on keyboard, Y on Xbox)
- Made some attempts to improve collisions regarding the main player object, will be testing with these changes and looking for unintended side effects
- Camera Shake is eliminated when you pause now (may just delay it until unpausing in the future)
- Reading the ViewFrogs sign now stops gameplay in the background
- Eddy THE HYENA in the movement tutorial now properly describes the Dash inputs
- Made a few key NPCs face you when you talk to them
- Charge gives more iFrames now, and the hitbox should be more consistent
- Dash can now cancel attack animations during IASA frames
- Dash's IASA frame window starts 1 frame earlier
- Charge's IASA frame window starts 5 frames earlier
- Pressing left/right on Xbox will now make that the main control scheme
- Text wrapping shouldn't be jarring anymore while the text comes out 1 letter at a time
- Also slightly increased the speed text draws at
- Fixed a bug where Charge wouldn't suspend you in midair on occasion
- Fixed a bug that let you move while NPCs were talking under a specific condition
- Removed
- The "Map" button, as it's made for the main game, and not for the demo!
Note: The build included is v1.0.1a, a Hotfix Build that includes small typo fixes and an edit to our beloved frog Banda, who was rotating around.
